Sr. Quality Assurance Analyst – Tulsa, OK 100-120+/-

Our Senior QA Analysts test every new product release that goes to market, and, as a result, are crucial for maintaining our reputation for high-quality products. Senior QA Analysts are expected to be quality ambassadors by continually harvesting new test cases to expand our current test coverage to help drive quality. In addition, they are responsible for maintaining automated test scripts to meet software release deliverables, project testing requirements and other quality assurance considerations. They maintain baseline databases which require importing and exporting of database tables for the purposes of the automation test execution. They build strong working relationships with complementing groups to maintain an environment that embraces quality software and builds.


We are looking for an experienced QA Analyst with C/ETRM experience and, ideally, proficiency in trading, valuation, scheduling, accounting and risk to join our team in Tulsa, OK.


o Develop and execute formal tests plans ensuring quality software application delivery.

o Plan, design, and deploy effective test cases for product development.

o Work closely with other members of the QA team and development team throughout the software development process.

o Develop and manually execute complex test cases.

o Design and promote test strategies, validate issue resolution on a daily basis, and implement strategy for managing testing environments.

o Apply proven analytical and problem-solving skills to help validate, verify, communicate, and resolve systems/software application issues through careful testing.

o Participate in QA metric definitions and metrics; collecting and analyzing data for software process and evaluation and improvements; documenting and resolving problems.

o Participate in projects related to offshore consultants automated testing initiatives.

o Assist members of the QA staff with various automation related tasks.

o Coordinate and lead the rollout of automated environment application upgrades.

o Follow up on outstanding defects to determine the impact on maintenance releases of code.

o Mentor and train junior staff.

WHAT WILL YOU NEED TO KNOW? (Required experience, skills and capabilities)

o 5+ years of software development, testing or other relevant technical work experience

o 2+ years of solid experience working with both manual and automated QA testing tools required

o Strong Knowledge of C/ETRM

o QA and automation skills and exposure to QA methodologies.

o Experience with SQL, office and outlook required

o Strong problem-solving skills.

o Excellent communication skills required.

o Proven record of strong performance on Development and or QA teams

o Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting or a related field or equivalent experience.

o Exhibits and is recognized for strong technical and business acumen in at least 1 application domain: trading, valuation, scheduling, accounting, risk

o Testing experience in one of the following areas: Financial Trading systems, Energy or Commodity trading/logistic systems, Risk Management or Quantitative Analytics, Financial Enterprise Software Solutions
